A growing number of investors are deciding to invest in the Zagreb County area

The Zagreb County Investment Forum was held at the International Hotel on November 27, 2024. It was organized by the Zagreb County, the Ministry of Economy and the Zagreb County Entrepreneurship Center in partnership with the Croatian Chamber of Commerce - Zagreb Chamber.

The topic of the Zagreb County Investment Forum was the current state and future of investment in the Zagreb County, with a comprehensive overview of Croatia's investment potential, with an emphasis on the importance of the Zagreb County as a key economic actor in Central Croatia. A new online platform, "Zagreb County Entrepreneurial Zones", was presented, designed to provide easier access to information about business zones, infrastructure opportunities and incentives for investment in the Zagreb County.

The great potential of the Zagreb County was highlighted, which attracts an increasing number of foreign investors, with manufacturing activities in the pharmaceutical, aviation and automotive industries standing out. The panel titled "Zagreb County: an investment green ring around the capital" discussed entrepreneurial zones, their equipment, the openness of local and regional administrations to investor requests, and investments in vocational education, and the panelist included Ivana Bakunić, director of the Meridian 16 business zone in Velika Gorica.
